VENK

Privacy

Updated: 20 October 2026

This page explains what data VENK collects, why, and who can see it. In short: the venue page sets no cookies and runs no trackers, and a guest's review is seen only by the venue they rated.

Who we are

VENK is a service for venues: an NFC plate and a page where a guest rates their visit and leaves a review. The data controller is VENK (Yerevan, Armenia). Contact: venksupport@gmail.com or Telegram.

The venue page (venk.app/r/…)

When a guest opens the page we record: the fact of opening, the rating, the device type (phone or desktop) and operating system, the chosen language, and the plate number if it is in the link. We never ask for a name, phone number or email.

To avoid counting one person ten times a day, the guest's address and browser are turned into an anonymous code that changes every day. The address itself is not stored, and the code cannot be traced back to a person.

The venue page sets no cookies. Only the chosen language is kept in the browser so it does not have to be switched again next time.

There are no third-party analytics or advertising pixels. Fonts are served from our own server; the page makes no requests to other companies.

Reviews

The text a guest writes on the venue page is stored with the rating, date and language. It is shown to the owner or manager of that venue in their dashboard. Reviews are not sent to public platforms (Google Maps, Yandex Maps and others).

Writing a review is voluntary. If a guest includes their name or phone number in the text, only the venue sees it.

If a guest follows a link from the page to a public platform, that platform's own rules apply from there.

Dashboard and admin

Venue owners sign in to the dashboard with a login and password. Signing in sets one functional cookie holding a signed session; its only purpose is to avoid re-entering the password on every page. Passwords are stored as hashes and cannot be recovered from the database.

Dashboard sign-ins are written to the server log (login, time, address) to protect against password guessing.

How long we keep data

Reviews and statistics are kept while the venue uses the service. At the venue's request its data is deleted entirely.

A guest can ask us to delete their review: write to us with the venue and the approximate time of the review.

Who we share data with

No one except the venue the guest rated. Data is not sold or shared with advertising networks. The site runs on a server rented from a hosting provider; only VENK has access to the data.

Changes

If these rules change, a new date appears here. We notify venues about significant changes separately.
